Dogwood time

The big ta-do in Phoenixville is the annual Dogwood fair which came to town this past Monday.  The last day of the fair, there is a parade.  After a full week of rain, we were blessed with clear, sunny skies for today's parade. The kids have been looking forward to this all week, because they have not gotten to go and watch the parade for a few years now, because it seems to fall on a day that I work, and last year they were in the parade and only got to watch the end of it.  It was great fun for them to watch the parade with their friends and go on some rides with them afterward.  I could have done without the mud all over the fairgrounds, but at least it wasn't raining!
The bags are to collect candy that is thrown from some of the floats.
Nathan caught that big fuzzy bunny and gave it to Kaitlyn!
