Puppy Love

We knew we were in trouble when we heard about Kaitlyn kissing her "boyfriend", Micah in preschool.  Who would have thought we'd have to deal with that at 3 years old?!?  Of course we thought it was cute and innocent then.  Although we love Micah and his family, and would have arranged a marriage if we could, alas, Kaitlyn has moved on to a new man!  His name is Stephen, and as I found out when I met his Mom at the Christmas party at school, the feeling is mutual.  They had a play date over Christmas break at Stephen's house, and today Stephen came to our house.  I can see why she likes him.  What a sweet little boy...and cute too!  She has good taste!  They get along so great!  She can hang with the boys and do boy things, or play princess and dress up with the girls.  We really have the best of both worlds with her! Although we tease her about having a boyfriend, she says he's just a boy who is a friend (with that little grin that tells me she really does have a crush!)  As long as there is no smooching going on!  Ahh, puppy love!
