Winterizing my Home

I never really decorated for Winter before.  I usually just use darker colored decor on my shelves and mantel and keep away the springy/summery looking items.  This year I feel like I want to change decor with every season.  I just left the greenery and pine cones out from Christmas, and tucked them here and there.  I would have probably left out a snowman or 2 and some snowflake ornaments, if I had thought of it before I packed them away just so. Thought I'd post some Winter decor pics now because hopefully soon I will be taking it down to prepare for spring!

 

Hmm, the picture of our family on the beach doesn't flow to well with a winter mantel .
