Blue and Gold

Nathan had his Cub Scouts Blue and Gold banquet dinner last night.  We didn't go last year, but apparently it is a big deal for the Weblo group.  They have this whole ceremony for their graduation into boy scouts.  Nathan is only a wolf scout so he has a couple of years to go before he is a Weblo.  Anyway, they also gave out awards and patches to the other scouts who have earned them.  We didn't know about it, but Nathan got an award last night for his participation in a tree preservation program.    It is the President's Environmental Youth Award, signed by the President himself!...Not really, it's just a copy, but Nathan's pretty proud of it!  Here are some pics from the banquet.

  

 There was also a magic show.  Nathan's buddy Thomas got to be a volunteer!
