We survived!

Well, God spared us from the wrath of hurricane Irene!  We got by with no damage, but a small leak in our roof that caused a stain on the ceiling.  Guess we will be painting soon!  Our electric stayed on too! The tornado warnings were a bit too close for comfort, but they did not hit near us.  Norm, like a good Papa bear, stayed up till 3 in the morning watching the news coverage till he was sure we were in the clear from the tornado watch.  We were set up and prepared to move to the basement to sleep if we had to, but no need.  I hope all of my east coast friends were as lucky as we were!
