As summer comes to an end, we realize how much our family time seems to be limited during the school year. With Norm working on Saturdays, he has off Sundays and Mondays. Well now both the kids will be in school on Mondays and there will be homework and early bedtimes. Not so much time for fun anymore. So, we squeezed in as much as we could this past week and weekend. We've had movie night, a trip to the farm and since we got together with my family on Saturday, for my Dad's birthday, we just hung out together on this Labor day. We did a little school shopping, and filled up the kids pool, swam and had a water gun fight. Hopefully our weekends won't be so busy this fall and we can just do whatever as a family. I cherish those times together!

Movie night

At the farm

The kids love to throw rocks in the river, down by the farm. They could spend all afternoon doing that. And, of course Nathan was looking for water critters.

Norm and Nathan soaking each other. Yes, I was present for all of these family moments....I'm just always the one behind the camera!
