....that today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day? It's true!! Yeah, it's not on my calender either. (who comes up with these crazy holidays anyway??) Though it's not a holiday we celebrate in our house, Nathan got to celebrate it at school today. Not sure it has anything to do with the holiday though. Apparently at his elementary school they kick off they're reading program with a different theme each year. This year, it's pirates. Anyway, Nathan got to dress like a pirate today, and talk like a pirate....if you know the lingo. "Arrrrg!" was all he could come up with.
And since we are talking about themed days, today was Yellow day at preschool for Kaitlyn. She loves color days because she is allowed to bring a toy as long as it is the appropriate color. She wore yellow today too. She was picking out all of her yellow hair accessories for me to put in her hair today....and I mean, she wanted all of them in her hair. We were able to agree on just a yellow headband along with a yellow bow. Color days also mean that she will come home with the color of the day paint all over her, since they always paint on these days....Uhgg!....I mean, Arrrrg!
