Wow this has been a busy, busy summer so far! Yesterday was the first day we did not get in the car and go anywhere all day! That was nice. Still, our day was full of activity. We have organized activities every Wednesday morning with the kids in the neighborhood. Nathan and Kaitlyn have many friends on our block and they love to play together, so they look forward to this every week. Of course, they play together all the days in between when we are home too. Today the activity was make-your-own ice cream sundaes at someone's house. They played in the pool and sprinkler and had ice cream. Some other Wednesday activities have been a trip to the local zoo, a movie at the theater, and the piggy farm. We've also had birthday parties, picnics, trips to the library, swim lessons, karate and other fun things. Here are some pictures of our summer fun so far. There's much more to come! This weekend the kids will have their first camping experience. I'll blog about that when we return.
