After we picked apples, we headed over to Pumpkinland, to the playground, had lunch, and visited the animals!

I used 10 apples to make apple crisp and we still have A LOT left. We really didn't need a whole box of apples but the kids were having so much fun picking them. Guess we'll just be eating lots of apples....to keep the doctor away!

How did you find out about this place? First time there, or no?
If you want to use the apples up (and have some extra time on your hands, lol!) then make homemade applesauce. After you've peeled, cored, and sliced up all the apples (the hard part!) you just put them on the stove with a little water or apple juice and cook them until they're mush. You can add a little sugar and cinnamon (or not) and you're good to go! :)
